Going to church for the first time, or after a long gap can seem a big step. We are convinced that God cares about people, and so we do our best to show that same care to all who visit us. Bethel is an all-age church at the heart of the village of Bedwas.

Whether you are a committed Christian, on the fringes, wanting to know more or have no faith, everybody is welcome at our different services.

Sunday 11.00am

A friendly group of all ages and backgrounds. We sing a mix of traditional and contemporary songs and our service centres on listening to God’s word, the Bible.

If you have children, please don’t worry about noise – we don’t mind at all! We have a creche area at the back of the church for babies/toddlers, and a fun Sunday Club for infants and juniors – we’ll let you know when it’s time to head out for that.

We also have disabled access and changing facilities.

We share Holy Communion every 3rd Sunday, and our service usually finishes around 12.15pm and refreshments are available after the service.

Sunday 6.00pm

A more relaxed service with time for sung worship and prayer. Again, our time centres on hearing God speak to us through his word. Parents with babies and small children are welcome to use the creche space in the church – we love welcoming little one and we don’t mind noise.

We share Holy Communion every 1st Sunday, and our service usually finishes around 7.20pm. Everyone is welcome to stay for some refreshments after the service.
