A quick COVID related update:
1) Bethel is going online again for January 2021! In order to protect our most vulnerable members and to honour the seriousness of this latest lockdown as cases in Wales surge, we have chosen not to have “in-person” meetings until Feb 7 2021 (this will be reviewed throughout January).This will disappoint some and be a relief for others – we’re feeling our way through this time just like everyone else.
2) Many will feel lonely or vulnerable over the coming weeks. Whilst our services may not be running – church never closes! If you know anyone who needs a call, a prayer, some errands running or one of our Survival Packs from The Rock, PLEASE get in touch.
Finally, please keep safe and have a fabulous Christmas. When the plans we make fail, when we can’t see the ones we love, when things change and feel out of control, we look to God. He does not fail us, he never changes and he is in control. And he has not abandoned us – in the coming of Jesus we celebrate his name “Emmanuel”: God With Us. Looking to him could make this the most significant Christmas of your life….
